Siikaranta conference hotel is in western Espoo, 35 km from Helsinki, on the shore of lake Siikajärvi and close to Nuuksio National Park.
Siikaranta provides accommodation in double rooms equipped with shower, TV and telephone. Also rooms with handicap-equipment are available.
Siikaranta provides versatile meeting facilities with modern audio-visual services for groups of 10 to 200 persons.
Buffet breakfast, lunch, coffee and dinner are served in the restaurant. Snacks are available also in the lounge.
Two log houses are within easy reach of the hotel building and have excellent facilities for meetings, training occasions and various kinds of celebrations. Siikaranta has also two lakeside saunas in the magnificient scenery of lake Siikajärvi. In summer time the terrace area is excellent for barbeques and similar activities.
The surrounding nature and the beaty of Nuuksio National park tempt to outdoor exercise. A marked trail of 7,5 km round lake Siikajärvi starts in the area of Siikaranta. Those interested in tennis and volleyball can test their skills on two outdoor courts. In winter time Siikaranta offers fine opportunities for cross country skiing on prepared trails.
HOW TO FIND SIIKARANTA
Hotel Siikaranta is situated 35 km from Helsinki City towards Turku, about 7 km from the freeway. Drive Turku freeway till ÄMMÄSSUO-NUPURI junction, first junction after circle way number 3 (KEHÄ 3 in Finnish).
In the junction turn to the right towards VEIKKOLA. Drive about 1,5 km and turn again to the right towards SIIKAJÄRVI. Drive that way altogether 5 km to Siikaranta. There are two junctions to the left during the last 5 km but there is a roadsign in every junction.
